About the job
The Google Augmented Reality team is a diverse group of experts tasked with building the foundations for great immersive computing and building helpful, delightful user experiences. We’re focused on making immersive computing accessible to billions of people through mobile devices, and our scope continues to grow and evolve.
Responsibilities
Develop tool road map for materials and defect characterization for defects and uniformity detection and quantification in microLED processing.
Drive the failure analysis and physical rootcause understanding for yield and uniformity limiting defects on microLEDs.
Work with the internal and external failure analysis resources to analyze and identify the origin of the defects in the line utilizing various materials characterization techniques (SIMS, XPS, AES, EDX, APT or other techniques). Develop novel materials and defect characterization tools and techniques.
Collaborate across process, device, and test engineering to drive yield and uniformity improvements in microLED processing.
Perform preliminary performance and data analysis on yield enhancement experiments, in collaboration with the process teams.
