The Google Network Operations team is responsible for maintaining the most reliable and cost-effective network with an eye to the future to meet Google’s demanding growth. We proactively monitor the network and repair issues whilst preventing impact to our customers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000-$120,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
Respond to network outages by providing a diagnosis of Layer 1 to Layer 3 network errors and initiate and complete network repairs.
Use workflows and systems to diagnose optical Layer 1 and Layer 3 network issues to completion.
Participate in 24/7 global team shift rotations.
Provide remote support for field operations related to network repairs.
Interface with high-level customers communicating repair status and updates as needed.
