Google Looking for Performance Modeling and Measurement Lead, Devices and Services at Mountain View, CA Full Time
Minimum qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent pratical experience
- 12 years of experience in building simulation and measurement systems
- 5 years of experience in building and leading high-performance simulation and measurement teams
- Experience with SystemC, Python, C, C++, and modern software engineering practices
Preferred qualifications:
- PhD in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
- Ability to maintain professionalism when leading others through complex situations
- Ability to influence and negotiate diplomatically and with a range of stakeholders
- Excellent technical writing and presentation skills
- Excellent project management and organizational skills

Responsibilities
- Build and lead a small team of experts who engage in analyzing computing systems involving aspects that cut across software and hardware boundaries.
- Design and perform lab-based studies, develop models, analyze performance, work with others to explore new approaches, simulate these new approaches, and inform future generations of hardware and software systems.
- Work with Product and Engineering teams across organizational boundaries to evolve benchmarks, metrics, and apply these in system design.
