Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
4 years of experience in Policy Analysis, Policy Development, Policy Implementation, or Legal Documentation
Preferred qualifications:
2 years of experience in drafting or enforcing policy for Legal, Trust and Safety, or other comparable teams that manage sensitive workflows
1 year of experience managing operational processes with a high volume of requests, with an emphasis on velocity and accuracy
Experience with stakeholder management, project management, and process development under deadline pressure
Excellent judgment in sensitive matters and skilled at identifying and mitigating strategic risk

The Legal Investigations Support (LIS) team handles requests for user data received from Government agencies, courts, and parties in civil litigation. LIS handles a high-volume of these legal requests, processing them through internal tools based on complex internal policy and workflows.
As the Policy Lead for the Domestic Criminal area of Legal Investigations Support (LIS), you are the representative for the team working with our counsel partners and other stakeholders on issues related to our operating procedures for data disclosure. You will provide valuable input to counsel as workflows are being set, and create and drive the processes that ensure those procedures are implemented in an effective and efficient way.

Responsibilities
Partner with counsel and our Change Management team to evaluate and approve operating procedures and workflows; assist counsel with escalations on an ad-hoc basis
Serve as an escalation point for team members around policy resolution; work with a team of junior Policy Advisory point-of-contacts to ensure policy escalations are triaged and managed weekly
Lead and support team goals around policy, including those regarding to streamlining our procedures to better support initiatives that scale our operation
Be well-versed in policies and workflows to answer questions from managers and counsel with clarity and rationale; ramp up quickly on workflows to deliver outside of your area of expertise
Work closely with various partner teams (training, compliance, etc.) to ensure stakeholders are in sync about upcoming policy/workflow changes, and to ensure team documentation stays up-to-date
