As a Policy Lead, you will ensure the success of the team by proactively identifying problems, analyzing issues, and developing recommendations to drive change as a legal policy and product expert.

Responsibilities
Develop, launch, and enforce scalable policies and processes to scale requirements from upcoming legislation regarding content moderation issues. Drive innovation regarding best practices for implementing such policies.
Serve as a strategic advisor and liaison to cross-functional stakeholders, including Legal, Public Policy, Product Policy, and Engineering.
Partner with technical teams to drive and coordinate the development and maintenance of Legal Removals tools and processes.
Engage and communicate with users, governments, and other internal and external stakeholders on removals requests, policy issues, and high-profile escalations from receipt to resolution.
Review or be exposed to sensitive content (e.g., hate speech, violent extremism, nudity, etc.) and may involve occasional off-hours coverage rotations.
