The Product Activation team plays a critical role intersecting Product, Go-to-Market functions, and the end customer. This team is involved from the start of product conception by bringing and validating feedback from the field, to helping to inform product prioritization based on customer understanding and willingness to pay, to engaging with Marketing and Sales to drive product adoption at launch. As a Product Activation Lead, you will provide the organization with the strategic, analytical, and commercialization support for the Google Maps Platform APIs.

Identify gaps, synthesize, and prioritize product requirements based on business rationale, customer needs, business opportunity, and identify competitive perspectives and differentiated value propositions through market-relevant insights and share them effectively to ensure internal alignment and often to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
Drive customer validation efforts to determine product-market fit and go-to-market strategies using a broad range of tools including outreach, surveys, manual review of customer implementations, etc.
Partner with Go-to-Market teams including Sales and Marketing to inform go-to-market strategy for driving product adoption and business growth.
Develop and deliver presentations summarizing insights and recommendations to product and go-to-market leads.
