Responsibilities
Collaborate with Industrial Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and external work partners to realize a product’s design direction and establish innovative designs.
Create high-quality 3D surfaces for various design concepts, visualizations, prototypes, design, and engineering evaluations.
Develop production-level surfaces from a variety of design/engineering inputs for product development, tooling, and manufacturing. Identify tools and processes to enhance capabilities and support company and/or department development.
Work separately and within a mixed-team environment. Execute with leadership throughout the development and build process.
Present knowledge of materials and processes, innovation, and emerging technologies that inform product development. Travel as needed (i.e., to manufacturing facilities overseas) to ensure that solutions have development viability, are manufacturable, and maintain design direction.
