Preferred qualifications:
5 years of product management experience in a technology-based platform, operating system, or embedded system software products.
Experience in Display Engineering, Graphics and/or Graphics Processing Units.
Experience working for or with SoCs, OEMs, popular operating systems or gaming consoles, with experience building and delivering high impact product lines.
Experience leading initiatives that span multiple teams and functions.
Cross-functional skills working to deliver products across multiple teams and tech stacks.

As a Product Manager for Android Graphics, your mission will be to deliver a display, graphics stack, and developer experience that enables beautiful and high-fidelity experiences for our ecosystem. This also includes our display strategy for the smooth and next-gen display experience on unique form factors.
Google Play offers music, movies, books, apps and games for devices, powered by the cloud. It syncs across devices and on the web. As part of the Android and Mobile team, Googlers working on Google Play do everything from engineering our backend systems, to shaping product strategy, to forming great content partnerships. They make it possible for people to do things like buy an ebook or song on their Android phone, then have it instantly available on their laptop. The Google Play team enhances the Android ecosystem by giving developers and partners a premium store where they can reach millions of users.
Responsibilities
Execute and direct the strategy of Android’s display technologies and graphics stack to impact our framework approach, such as drive device consistency for game developers to get the benefits of the latest cutting edge graphics APIs.
Drive the roadmap for critical graphics development tools, for development, debugging, regular updates and deliver a clean and coherent developer experience.
Pursue opportunities to partner with OEMs, SoCs, GPU IP holders, app developers, and game engines to achieve the mission. Travel 25% of the time.
Work with an engineering and cross-functional team of business development and developer advocates to deliver your roadmap through Android and out-of-band releases.
