About the job
As a critical open source software (OSS) product, TensorFlow/JAX is one part of the Core Machine Learning (ML) portfolio. In this role, you will help the The Core Machine Learning team grow, position, foster, and expand our Machine Learning OSS efforts externally. You’ll engage and grow our external community of developers, interfacing with researchers, ML developers, and hardware companies. You will manage our release roadmaps, strategic position, and messaging in addition to working cross-functionally with Developer Relations, Marketing, Program Management, and more.
You’ll help scale ML internally, externally, and globally, define success metrics for ML workloads and external communities, interact with ML development entities, and drive a cross-organizational strategy, fostering and growing existing product relationships and collaborating across Google to grow our impact and user experience.
Responsibilities
Define the roadmap, strategy, and execution for Core ML OSS and metrics with Engineering teams.
Help grow the OSS community, meet with external research organizations and companies, and work to align Product Management across OSS sub-projects.
Coordinate within the larger Core ML Ecosystem team to help balance priorities across different use cases.
Align third and first-party requirements, working with Product Managers across the team to identify how external user requirements influence the internal roadmap.
Lead and determine the appropriate sets of metrics for the OSS community. Work with Product Managers across the Core ML team, internal teams, and external stakeholders to build the user experience that best enables success and manage those engagements.
