Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical or marketing field or equivalent practical experience
10 years of experience in enterprise technology or software marketing
Experience building assets and marketing content
Experience working across multiple engineering, developer relations, and/or marketing teams
Preferred qualifications:
Experience planning and executing multiple, complex, marketing programs (e.g., budget management)
Experience with serverless application development and delivery
Experience selling to IT and engineering leaders
Experience as a product or technology advocate

Whether you’re on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product’s journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you’ll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.
As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving product marketing for our Application Modernization portfolio, including amplifying capabilities within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and planning for capabilities that we haven’t launched yet.

Responsibilities
Build inspiring technology showcase assets that excite customers and drive awareness of the Application Modernization portfolio in the market and engage with key influencers.
Create innovative marketing campaigns and technology showcases for the Application Modernization portfolio.
Partner with customer success and engineering to develop product demonstrations for events, including executive keynotes.
Identify, develop, and/or manage the creation of a variety of content types (e.g., written, videos, presentations, etc.) as needed to fuel sales and marketing success.
Work closely with technical leadership to drive developer initiatives and help grow the broader Google Cloud developer community along with marketing and developer relations teams.
