About the job
This role will require you to uncover the challenges facing IT and business decision-makers today, and position how our product portfolio of Chrome, Chrome OS and Android fit into an enterprise’s end user computing strategy. You will drive overall product marketing efforts, with the goal of growing adoption of hardware and software among enterprise users. You will drive cross-functional programs with stakeholder visibility, and proactively look for ways to create value for customers across the Google product portfolio.
As a member of this team, you’ll work alongside a group of marketers to position and market Chrome OS to the business audience. You will develop knowledge and insights of challenges facing IT decision-makers today and how Chrome OS fits into an enterprise’s end user computing strategy. You will lead overall product marketing efforts for Chrome OS with the goal of growing consideration and device deployments among businesses, and launching and landing features in the market.
Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google’s products solve the world’s problems-from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can-changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.
Responsibilities
Work across marketing, product, and business teams on key campaigns, launches, and initiatives to grow awareness of the Chrome OS brand and preference among IT decision-makers. Lead marketing efforts with content that gains support from enterprise stakeholders.
Set product marketing strategy for priority use cases and industries for Chrome OS to achieve our goals (e.g., set goals, define value proposition, establish positioning/narrative, create content, develop Go-to-Market strategy, etc.).
Create content including pitch decks, one-pagers, blog posts, and videos that supports the adoption of capabilities among the customer base.
Develop actionable insights to inform strategy. Advocate for the customer through qualitative and quantitative insights to shape product roadmap and messaging.
Collaborate with marketers across Chrome OS consumer teams to develop content that can drive adoption of Chrome OS among enterprises.
