About the job
Whether you’re on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product’s journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you’ll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.
The Global Ads Acquisitions team is responsible for growing our customer base and delivering business growth through acquisition. We focus on helping businesses grow using our Google Ads products. Our mission is to consistently provide an excellent customer experience by offering the right information, the right product, and the right level of help to all Small- and Medium-sized Business (SMB) businesses.
A portion of our acquisition volume comes from SMB’s and the majority of them will interact with one of our Google Ads websites before starting advertising on Google. Our team owns the Google Ads website and is responsible for its content strategy, development, and optimization. It is one of the main entry points to Google Ads and a key component in how we position Google Ads externally.
Your mission will be to lead production for the Google Ads website and ensure we meet our cross-functional objectives. You’ll work very closely with key partners internally (Product, Engineering, Sales, and global/regional Marketing teams) and externally.
Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google’s products solve the world’s problems-from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can-changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.
Responsibilities
Lead production for the Google Ads website globally
Be responsible for resource planning and capacity management, collaborating closely with our agency partners (UX, development, analytics) to ensure every project meets its business objectives, deadlines and budget requirements
Identify and structure team priorities, track progress on an ongoing basis; providing documentation, facilitating planning sessions, and communicating updates proactively with key stakeholders
Work with cross-functional global partners to plan and test website optimizations, disseminate key learnings and communicate regional updates
