Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is changing the way the world uses cloud computing. The Google Systems and Services Infrastructure team drives many GCP products, and is organized in into three main areas (e.g., Core Compute, Networking, and Storage).
The GCP Systems and Services Infrastructure Product Operations team within the broader Google Cloud Systems and Services Infrastructure team helps drive strategic and operational excellence for these focus areas. In this role, you will drive key strategic initiatives and lead executive cadence and key operational processes.
You will work with Systems and Services Infrastructure Product Management and Engineering leadership, defining, improving, and executing business cadence (i.e. monthly business reviews), driving key IaaS strategic initiatives for assigned areas, and leading processes. You’ll utilize excellent attention to detail, project management, and stakeholder management expertise to lead projects from start to finish. You will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects, including managing project schedules, identifying risks, and communicating goals to project stakeholders.
Work with Product Management and Engineering teams to drive product strategy development (e.g., business case for product introductions, pricing, go-to-market initiatives, etc.) in collaboration with analysts on the team.
Own executive cadence and support management communications for focus areas (e.g., monthly business reviews, quarterly business reviews, planning, etc.).
Support internal operational processes (e.g., headcount planning, spending, objectives and key results development, and scoring).
Partner and be the link with Go-To-Market (GTM) teams (e.g., work with Customer Engineers to collect field feedback and align on the GTM approach).
Provide analytical support (e.g., internal usage, key performance indicator setting, etc.), and overall leadership on initiatives.
