About the job
In this role, you will play a key role in providing management and our Board of Directors assurance that Google has a relevant and adequate Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program. The ERM program adequately frames, informs, monitors, and actions our risks in a fast-paced and ever-changing business.
You will report directly to the head of ERM and support all aspects of the enterprise-wide risk management program, with an emphasis on scaling ERM program and operations and building sustainable risk management practices and capabilities across the organization through targeted advisory and training opportunities.
You will work to improve risk accountability and transparency across Google through a common governance framework and aligned risk management practices.

Responsibilities
Contribute to the strategic direction of our enterprise risk management program, including the development and continued optimization of team processes and practices.
Partner with a subject matter expert second-line risk teams to influence a coordinated approach to risk assessment, monitoring, and reporting practices.
Drive execution for several cross-team initiatives and projects to drive alignment and increase velocity. Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a highly matrixed environment.
Manage complicated workstreams, proactively identify issues and key milestones, and follow up with owners to determine resolutions and escalate when needed.
Prepare summary reports for various levels of management, including executive and board-level audiences.
