Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in managing projects.
  • Experience supporting executives with communications or public relations.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working on complex operational and strategic initiatives across various geographies.
  • Experience with graphic design.
  • Experience designing and executing marketing and communications strategies and campaigns.
  • Ability to create effective relationships, influence and collaborate internally and externally at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Own the internal and external communication strategy for the organization and its leader.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and the Commerce Offers Service (COS) Office to define communications and change management approach for strategic programs.
  • Identify creative, fun, and non-standard solutions to help leaders and non-leaders communicate the organization’s strategy and impact to their teams, the wider Google audience, and external partners.
  • Develop communication templates and resources that can be leveraged by the larger team.
  • Obtain and organize input from technical staff to clearly convey technical concepts into digestible formats appropriate for all affected stakeholders.
