Machine Delivery (MD) is accountable for the orchestration and enablement of Google builds, upgrades, rack moves, and decommissions from order creation, constraints enforcement, and infrastructure mapping through to Delivery. We focus on timely execution, exception management, efficient capacity utilization, transformation programs, and delivery policies to enable success for our customers and Google.
In this role, you will lead multi-disciplinary projects, define requirements with internal customers, and usher projects through the entire project life cycle. You’ll also manage project schedules, proactively identify risks and clearly communicate goals to project stakeholders. Your projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it’s your job to keep all the players coordinated on the project’s progress and deadlines.
Salary Range Info:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000-$158,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
Oversee and execute tasks to enable successful demand propagation, updates, and closures, including troubleshooting issues, identifying risk areas, and developing mitigation strategies.
Assume ownership, drive root-causing & resolution for complex inventory and asset management situations.
Drive program management efforts across various programs focused on long-term process/business transformations.
Serve as team’s main point of contact for systems & processes as related to inventory and asset management, scoping sub-linear system improvements, providing design input for high-priority fixes/improvements, vetting of feature requests/system changes.
