Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program or project management.
- Experience managing Contract Manufacturers and Component Suppliers.
- Experience in materials build readiness in NPI and supply chain readiness for Production.
- Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI), Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Operations, or Supply/Demand Planning.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Engineering, Operations or other relevant fields.
- Experience in multiple aspects of hardware operations.
- Knowledge about typical hardware BOMs, process documentation and assembly and test processes.
- Ability to communicate project requirements and schedules.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, quantitative reasoning, problem-solving, creativity, and strategic skills.

As a New Product Introduction (NPI) Operations Program Manager, you will be the primary Operations/Supply Chain interface to the development and deployment teams with the responsibility for driving operations new product development as well as supporting those products through the production ramp. You are well versed in the CM/ODM manufacturing environments and will lead a team of professionals to ensure products are designed and built to Google standards.

Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional Program teams within Google and with external partners to prepare for production ramp or product transitions.
- Plan and execute operations development activities and ensure transition to production within cost, quality and capacity parameters, and ensure successful production transitions meeting program goals.
- Manage ramp readiness with internal teams as well as external partners (e.g., material availability, cost/assembly/test/BOM/capacity readiness and transition plans).
- Drive cross-functional teams to optimize the supply chain for specific strategic reasons, while accounting for risks, changes in schedule, or demand.
- Drive Build Coordination with internal teams and external partners.
