As a Real Estate Development Project Manager you will assist in managing the spatial requirements for our workforce, while maintaining long-term sustainability and care for our world’s resources. You will also assist in the strategic planning, financial analysis/administration, and the design and construction of our corporate offices.
The Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) team creates inspiring spaces and innovative services that bring Google’s culture and values to life. We build and maintain all aspects of what keeps our Googley workspaces operating seamlessly across multiple cities and regions globally. We also manage the industry-leading services that help make Google a great place to work – from how we design healthy and collaborative workspaces, create energizing food experiences, provide convenient transportation and fitness options, to delivering inclusive environments where Google and our employees can thrive.
Responsibilities
Support a development executive as an essential part of a team leading development projects.
Assist in the strategy, execution, and innovation of delivering Google’s development projects, while coordinating with internal and external project management teams on cost, schedule, and information.
Help develop project charters for each development project, clearly articulating the project vision, base building requirements and performance metrics, design principles, workplace objectives, budgets, schedules and all other desired outcomes.
Manage and coordinate regular team meetings (architect, consultant, general contractor, owner) throughout predevelopment period, development, and construction time frames.
Manage internal communication and collaboration with other Google stakeholders, through working sessions, large design workshops, senior leadership design reviews, and weekly team meetings.
