About the job
Our team is composed of researchers and engineers that focus on the research, development and deployment of superconducting quantum processors and related components. Our mission is to increase the scalability and performance of our systems at the hardware level, through microwave circuit design, materials science, microfabrication, and 3D integration techniques. Our research includes quantum processors and amplifiers, and high-density I/O.
In this role, you will own and streamline the characterization and measurement of parametric amplifiers and other components in the readout subsystem. You will own experiments through a complete life cycle, from design to deployment. You will work with research scientists and engineers to improve device and system performance, measurement infrastructure and procedures, and configuration tracking. Your position will be critical to the advent of Quantum Computing as an industrial technology.
Responsibilities
Work with research scientists and engineers to characterize processors, amplifiers, and components, and contribute to characterization software.
Work with mechanical and electrical engineers to improve both performance and scalability of the readout subsystem.
Own / operate / maintain / build-out measurement setups including dilution refrigerators, microwave and DC test platforms, filters, amplifiers, control electronics, etc.
Own experiments through a complete lifecycle, from design to deployment, synthesize data into actionable changes, and communicate results.
