In the fast paced world of server capacity delivery, you need to make sure the right equipment arrives at the right location at the right time. You will lead the team that is responsible for overseeing the Americas regional warehouses that receive and ship Google’s compute power. You will oversee operational excellence at all the regional warehouses and stocking locations.
In this role, you will oversee shipping and receiving, inventory management, warehousing and distribution, ensuring customer expectations are met, key performance indicators (KPI’s) and metrics are met, root causes and corrective actions are completed timely, along with continuous process and system improvements for speed, scale and simplification. In addition to these functions, key deliverables will include defining and maintaining metrics with 3rd-party vendors, defining and updating processes, and supporting warehouse launches.

Responsibilities
Lead a team across all Americas warehouse locations, including ensuring run-the-business metric and KPI success, and any network optimization changes required for the distribution network
Manage 3rd-party logistics warehouse partners to attain key KPIs, solve complex challenges, and establish corrective action plans when things go wrong. Manage senior level accounts, exception reports (bugs, etc.), spend controls, QBR’s, metrics, escalation management, and agreement making skills
Work with the Google Logistics Operations Machine Delivery and Transportation team along with Server Operations Team to ensure planning, scheduling of server equipment, and upgrades are on time, in full and with quality to the Data Centers and facilities
Drive continuous improvement at the warehouses and support initiatives within Global Capacity Delivery (GCD), Logistics, and GCD’s partner organizations
Create and manage budgets.
