Experience using data to guide retail location strategy, or in building out an omni-channel online and offline.
Experience in identifying opportunities for business improvement and defining/measuring the success of those initiatives.
Experience in leadership and self-direction of an analysis project pipeline.
About the job
Our Analytics team is the central source of all business data that flows through our platforms. We produce vital analysis, customer insights, experiments, data models, and widely used dashboards to drive smarter business decisions.
In this role, you will partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to drive our e-commerce and retail business.
You will provide the analysis that guides Google’s entry into physical retail stores. You will help define the metrics that measure the direct and indirect value of our physical stores, and set the foundation as we scale into more locations.
Responsibilities
Deliver insightful analysis on retail business trends and in-store operations, as well as multi-channel online and offline analysis.
Develop a data driven framework for retail location expansion, based on hypotheses that can be meaningfully evaluated using sound statistical concepts.
Build out executive-level and operational-level dashboards for a growing retail footprint.
Structure and design analytical tools, systems, and processes to ensure the retail growth plan is based on a robust analytical foundation, and to enable teams to achieve operational excellence using data.
Partner with Strategy teams to model the performance of plans and early concepts.
