The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. As a Risk and Compliance Lead, you will join the Go-To-Market Global Strategy and Operations team. The team engages on projects and work streams that impact multiple areas of Google’s business. We are focused on delivering insights and impact throughout our work. In this role, you will help develop the compliance program for the Global Business Organization (GBO). You will work closely with the business and other compliance teams across the company to assess and minimize compliance risk across GBO.
The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google’s complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
Develop and execute risk assessments. Design and support implementation of mitigation strategies and programs to address risks to the business.
Assist business/process owners to close gaps in controls and adopt processes that will help grow the business in a compliant manner.
Translate legal guidance into requirements and controls for technical and non-technical audiences.
Coordinate with central compliance teams to ensure compliance programs are up to company-wide standards and compliance trainings are delivered to and completed by all relevant employees.
Develop and update ethics and compliance management program collateral, including policies, guidelines, newsletters, and lead awareness campaigns.
