Experience with common controls frameworks, risk assessments, regulatory review, and obligations decomposition.
Experience translating regulatory requirements into operational realities.
Experience solving problems across multiple functions and stakeholders.
Experience in the operationalization and/or development of scalable solutions and structure.
Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. In this role, you will be part of the team responsible for proving compliance with existing and emerging content regulations. You will balance regulatory requirements with the dynamic needs of our users and the values of our company.
You will work with compliance capability development and maturation. You will be responsible for building frameworks, processes, and systems that will deliver defensible risk and compliance at Google scale.

Responsibilities
Manage a team by mentoring members and provide oversight/connectivity.
Work on a broad variety of matters from the complex to the routine (e.g., lead readiness efforts, track and monitor compliance implementation, report on compliance, etc.).
Own projects of moderate impact, risk, and complexity. Act as subject matter expert and manage content readiness efforts, coordinate cross-functionally, maintain feedback loop with stakeholders to identify issues, and drive further improvement.
Provide compliance expertise and thought leadership on compliance obligations; identify areas of required investment, and inform advocacy efforts of potential risks/unintended consequences.
Lead, inspire, and develop a team to drive results and deliver goals.
