CIA/CPA or related qualification
Experience in enterprise data analytics, common management reporting platforms, and familiarity with enterprise data analysis and common management reporting platforms
Experience with US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), PCAOB (Public Company Accounting Oversight Board) auditing standards and control frameworks used in IT SOX (e.g., COSO and COBIT)
Experience working with Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) program and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), and internal control design and operations from a Finance perspective, particularly for system scoping and application controls

The Google Fixed Assets (gFA) team manages the global accounting for Google’s entire CapEx portfolio, manufacturing operations, and related expenses. This infrastructure is at the foundation of Google – the global offices and integrated workspaces, data centers, networks, and integrating hardware and software that powers both our unique customer products and services and our internal operations. As a Risk and Controls Lead you will help build bulletproof, scalable, and flexible processes, and systems.
Drive the overall controls strategy for Google Fixed Assets defining the risk and control governance approach
Lead annual SOX process for Google Fixed Assets including: aligning with the Google Sox (gSOX) team on scoping (process, systems, key controls), supporting process owners on requirements and timeline, owning the annual SOX process narrative refresh
Collaborate with process owners in process improvement projects, and support them in risk identification and mitigation to enhance the control environment
Prepare control owners and to provide timely support for SOX walk troughs and testing, performing SOX/SAB99 deficiency assessments, and partner with the control owner to design/implement remediation plans
Own the annual SOX process narrative refresh, collaborating with process/control owners, gSOX, Engineering Compliance, and SOX auditors to ensure SOX activities in Fixed Assets are being performed effectively
