Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business with an emphasis in Operations or equivalent practical experience
8 years of experience in Risk, Compliance, or Trust and Safety operations, including in E-commerce fraud schemes and mitigating strategies
8 years of experience in people management, including on-site, remote, and vendor/extended workforce resources
Preferred qualifications:
Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS), Association of Certified Financial Crime Specialists (ACFCS), or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or similar certification
Experience leading complex process improvement projects
Ability to be a proactive team player, thrive in ambiguity, and navigate complexity to develop solutions
Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment

As part of this team, you proactively identify pain points and gaps in existing policy frameworks and find innovative solutions. In Financial Crimes Investigations, we design processes that work internationally while accommodating local needs. We provide rapid responses to challenges, ensuring the positive impact is lasting. The Scam Investigations team works with cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen Google’s fraud mitigation efforts, globally.
Responsibilities
Manage the operations in scope, including vendor supervision and process maintenance.
Review daily escalations and act as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
Analyze and interpret data, monitor applicable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and maintain comprehensive metrics.
Drive process design, collaborating with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance teams.
