Experience acting as a trusted advisor to executive leaders in related disciplines (e.g., People Operations, Legal, Finance, etc.).
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to build and lead teams, with and without direct authority.
Excellent project management skills.
About the job
In this role, you will be working with a Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) Business Partner Lead to bridge REWS and Product Area executive management. You will engage and collaborate across Google, enabling the implementation and execution of REWS services and experiences. You will synthesize and develop a comprehensive REWS strategy across the internal REWS teams, while simultaneously working extensively with external business areas ensuring alignment in our core REWS delivery and messaging.
The Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) team creates inspiring spaces and innovative services that bring Google’s culture and values to life. We build and maintain all aspects of what keeps our Googley workspaces operating seamlessly across multiple cities and regions globally. We also manage the industry-leading services that help make Google a great place to work – from how we design healthy and collaborative workspaces, create energizing food experiences, provide convenient transportation and fitness options, to delivering inclusive environments where Google and our employees can thrive.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate significant leadership and executive presence to build strong relationships, educate and influence business leaders (and their delegates).
Prepare and deliver timely, relevant, thorough and tailored communication (i.e., written and verbal) to balance the needs of the business with the solutions and timeframe that REWS can provide.
Lead a team to adapt to changing needs, proactively resource, and balance near term goals and long term strategy of the business with REWS priorities.
Leverage your expertise in REWS subject matter (e.g., real estate, facilities operations, security, safety, employee perks, etc.) and act as a single point of contact to Product area leaders for REWS-related strategy and execution.
