Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, other relevant product management disciplines, or equivalent practical experience.
15 years of product management or related experience.
Experience leading, mentoring, motivating, and managing/developing a team of product managers.
Preferred qualifications:
MBA degree or equivalent advanced degree.
Experience driving Go-To-Market execution in matrixed organizations.
Experience delivering successfully on accelerated timelines.
Experience in product management, creating successful customer-facing and easy-to-use products, with skills in product packaging, positioning, messaging, pricing, industry-specific needs and field enablement.
Understanding of the enterprise databases market segment and of application development, analytics, and AI/ML.
Excellent organizational, prioritization, and written/verbal communication skills.

As a Senior Director of Product Management for Cloud Databases, you will scale the Product Management organization and its leadership team to best support the fast growing databases business. You will be responsible for providing customer-centered product vision and definition, building thought leadership in this market segment, and driving go-to-market strategy and execution. You will execute across numerous proprietary and open-source technologies to solve the most demanding problems for our customers.

Responsibilities
Develop a strategic vision and collaborate with customers, partners, the field, and engineering to offer a roadmap for our internal and external customers. Drive decisions around prioritization, solutions, functionality, and pricing.
Work across product, engineering, and services teams to define, build, and support our Database products that span across the entire portfolio of product offerings.
Develop and establish best product management practices through solid design decisions, processes, and tools.
Build and drive a thought leadership narrative with customers and industry thought leaders around databases and how they fit into the overall data narrative.
Drive Go-To-Market strategy in a matrixed organization across a variety of industry focus areas and customer segments.
