Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it’s modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. Working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to take on big picture challenges.
As someone who knows the workings of the core Finance team inside and out, you’ll lead individual projects to transform planning, tracking and control processes. You’ll provide senior level management with insightful recommendations, planning and reporting support.
We create the financial insights that make Google Play better, unpacking complex business problems to reveal opportunity. We work with all parts of the business to go deep into the details and find the facts critical to the executive leadership with a focus on discovering business opportunities and risks.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on one of Google’s most exciting and high profile businesses. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will provide Google Play with insights that help us capitalize on the right opportunities. You will be well versed in understanding Google Play business through your engagement with key business leaders, driving decision making through the strength of your data analysis, and balancing risk and return on investment leveraging your sharp financial acumen.
In this role, you will gain a deep understanding of the Google Play ecosystem, our user base, and commercial dynamics spanning mature to emerging markets.

Responsibilities
Influence decision making through clear yet detailed analytical insights that unpack the underlying business drivers and market trends, quantify risks, and propose efficient use of resources.
Engage in ad-hoc analyses and provide concise communications and recommendations to management.
Partner with senior business leaders, provide finance point of view on returns and risk, engage in discussion with business partners, and influence decision making.
