Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), quantitative analysis, consulting, or a related field
Preferred qualifications:
Knowledge of the SaaS/cloud industry
Knowledge of key metrics (e.g., bookings, backlog, and business growth)
Ability to communicate and influence effectively at an executive level and form excellent working relationships across business, operational, and technical functions
Ability to self-start and self-direct work in an unstructured environment and comfortable dealing with ambiguity
Ability to write data pipelines in SQL and automate financial reporting deliverables
Ability to prioritize deliverables and navigated ambiguity

Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it’s modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. While working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to solve big picture challenges.
Google Cloud Go-to-Market (GTM) Finance is responsible for providing reporting, insights and processes to Google Cloud Sales. This team works with cross-functional partners in Sales Operations, Sales, Corporate FPA, and Google Cloud Systems to enable operations around financial planning, business growth reporting, forecasting, compensation administration, P&L reporting, expense management, business growth analysis, investment prioritization etc. You will drive the financial support and decision making for our Google Workspace Field business for Google Cloud.

And nobody at Google loves big numbers like the Finance team when providing in depth analysis on all manner of strategic decisions across Google products. From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.
Responsibilities
Implement processes and establish the cadence of standard insights and analysis for the Google Workspace Field Business.
Automate, standardize, and publish monthly reporting packages and present worldwide and regional insights to leadership.
Analyze Revenue and bookings cohorts by customers, segmentation, channel, product, and region. Provide insights to Field Sales.
Make decisions through data analysis, KPIs, and analyzing financial/operational information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.
Forecast periodic revenue and bookings including variance analysis of business and drivers of performance, book to business growth conversion modeling, field productivity analysis, and field HC investment recommendations.
