Preferred qualifications:
MBA or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Operations Engineering, or other relevant field.
Experience in the consumer technology market, and working with global and cross-functional internal/external teams.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally once Covid restrictions are lifted and travel is normalized.
Experience launching Consumer Hardware products that are Custom Manufactured (CM), Joint Development (JDM), Original Device Manufacturers (ODM), Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), and third-party suppliers.
Excellent analytical, quantitative reasoning, problem solving, creativity, and strategic skills.

As the Senior Program Manager, you will be the cornerstone of operations communication with cross-functional teams in the development of new products. You are well versed in the CM/ODM manufacturing environments and will lead a team of professionals to ensure products are designed and built to Google’s high standards. You will lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your program management skills and expertise. You will plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks, and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You’re equally at home explaining your team’s analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers. You will be able to work in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment, as you work with teams to solve problems that gate production line operations.

Responsibilities
Plan and execute development New Product Introduction builds and ensure these products transition to production according to specific cost, quality, and capacity goals.
Lead cross-functional teams within Google and with external partners to prepare for production ramp and product transitions.
Drive ramp readiness with internal teams as well as external partners (i.e. material availability, capacity readiness, transition plans).
Drive cross-functional teams to optimize the supply chain for specific strategic reasons, while accounting for risks, changes in schedule or demand.
Provide support for products in a sustaining environment.
