Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. On this team, you’re a big-picture thinker and strategic team-player with a passion for doing what’s right. You work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases at Google speed – with urgency. In the last few years, Trust & Safety has expanded beyond traditional product protections to focus on additional types of abuse such as brand safety, controversial content, violent extremism, and political interference. This advancement changed the ways we protect our users and demonstrated expertise across Google’s growing array of products and services. In this role you’ll be an excellent operator and will collaborate with many teams both within and outside of Trust & Safety. You will bring in a passion for abuse fighting, a focus on putting the user first, and deliver excellent business results. You will partner with Engineering, Product, Legal, Policy and Scaled Operations team to drive operational performance and lower abuse rates. You will enable effectiveness and efficiency by driving strategic intent and execution excellence to deliver cross-functional initiatives at scale.

Perform data analyses to derive insights that help to identify and fight abuse across our products.
Collaborate with cross-functional groups such as Engineering, Sales, and Legal to update product policies. Provide a better digital experience for our users.
Enhance our operational workflows via process improvements and identification of automation opportunities.
Improve tools through data analysis, technical expertise, and presentations to key stakeholders.
Conduct investigations, enforce our product policies, and identify product vulnerabilities; you will be occasionally exposed to disturbing or offensive content during the process.
