As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You’re equally at home explaining your team’s analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.
Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage various Engineering-specific programs and teams.
As a member of the Silicon Software Technical Program Management team, you will focus on managing the planning, execution, and successful productization of Silicon Software features. You will be working with cross-functional teams from Silicon Software, Silicon and Product Hardware, and Platform and Product Software teams to bring together the various sub-systems that go into building a product’s functionality. You will ensure schedules, commitments, and priorities are aligned across the Silicon Software and cross-functional teams ensuring timely oversight and communication to key stakeholders. Your work will also help drive continual learnings and quality improvements. You will also be managing a team of trusted platform modules who are driving silicon software programs.

Responsibilities
Manage a software execution project. Work with multiple teams in product features technologies with cross-functional initiatives.
Understand technical implementation at the architecture level and propose technical alternatives when necessary. Ask questions that clarify priorities and push the team to be successful. Develop domain and technical knowledge.
Remove obstacles to drive momentum and progress. Identify communication gaps, manage issue escalations, and provide support to teams balancing priorities.
Interface with Engineering Managers and Engineers across both hardware and software to estimate work efforts, define milestones, and manage resources.
Drive features, track progress, resolve dependencies, evaluate risks, and communicate status to upper management and project stakeholders.
