5 years of experience with performance, large scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, and/or debugging.
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, and/or cross-business projects.
Experience with tools development, performance, and graphics.
Experience with Linux Kernel, Android apps, and Android internals.

In this role, you will provide analysis, proactive performance, and stability improvements. You will engage with product and Engineering owners for Tablets to look at long-term roadmaps and figure out where to invest resources across the group to improve these areas.

Responsibilities
Manage root cause stability and performance issues across the entire Android platform, with investigations spanning application code, the Android framework and run times, vendor drivers, and the Linux kernel.
Build tooling to increase field debuggability for different user journeys that are slow, unstable, or have poor power characteristics.
Help educate other teams on best practices to identify and debug issues.
Work with telemetry to further improve debuggability in the field.
