Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of experience staffing project teams, management consulting, corporate strategy or equivalent
- 2 years of experience with Professional Services
- Experience using Salesforce or another CRM
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with capacity planning models
- Experience in staffing and forecasting in fractional staffing models
- Experience building dashboards in Looker or similar BI tool
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, products, trends, and market dynamics

You will play a key role on the Google Public Sector (GPS) Strategy and Operations team, managing staffing and utilization for the GPS Professional Services team.
You will partner with Professional Services managers to ensure that projects are efficiently staffed with the right Googler, and that our Googlers are working on exciting projects that best suit their skills and career aspirations. This will involve setting a regular cadence with managers to ensure understanding of staffing requirements, timelines, and any changes to the requirements through the engagement. You will strategize with practice leaders on the best fulfillment strategy given the requirements of the project. In addition, you’ll identify and execute strategies to improve forecasting of both supply and demand in an effort to best support our growing PSO team.
The newly created Google Public Sector organization helps U.S. public sector institutions—including federal, state, and local governments, and educational institutions—accelerate their digital transformations.
This new division will specialize in bringing Google Cloud technologies, including Google Cloud Platform and Google Workspace, to U.S. public sector customers. Additional Information
(Colorado only*) Minimum full-time salary range between $119,000 – $128,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

Responsibilities
- Own the staffing function for the Google Public Sector Professional Services teams.
- Partner with Strategy and Operations and Professional Services leadership to create best practices for staffing and utilization management.
- Ensure that all Google Public Sector projects are staffed with individuals with the right skill set.
- Lead weekly staffing meetings with professional services teams and ensure supply and demand forecasts are accurate.
- Build and maintain utilization dashboards for team leadership.
