Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience working with cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams and customers.
Experience with creating executive communications (e.g., memos, slide decks, etc.) and presenting to non-technical/analytics audiences.
Preferred qualifications:
MBA or Master’s degree in a management, technical, or engineering field.
Cloud Certification (e.g. GCP-PCA).
5 years of experience delivering material digital transformation projects to global organizations.
Experience in application/workload migration and working with new and emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions with public cloud providers alongside partners, systems integrators, and third-party developers to deliver high-impact solutions.
Strategic gap analysis skills, including evaluating and advising customers on organizational restructuring, training, and mitigation steps to increase success.
Ability to work in ambiguous situations and define a path to resolution, leveraging quantitative assessment and analysis for decision-making and prioritization.

Our Professional Services Organization in Google Cloud delivers product and implementation expertise to our customers to help them get the most out of their Google Cloud investments.
As a Strategic Cloud Advisor (SCA), you will provide advice and expertise for customer’s Google Cloud programs. Your previous program management experience, coupled with exposure to cloud infrastructure and migrations, enterprise transformation, digital technology implementation, Google product expertise, strategy development, and customer advocacy will play a critical part in your day to day work driving success with our customers.
You will regularly engage with diverse stakeholder groups, including executives of large enterprises and cross-functional, multi-cultural and geographically dispersed teams. In this role, you will effectively communicate at all levels of the organization. In this role, you will travel (domestically and internationally) approximately 50% of the time.

Responsibilities
Engage key stakeholders to define customer cloud strategies, goals, and expected outcomes from the engagement. Define the overall governance model for the account and establish a cadence to enable a successful cloud program.
Conduct regular executive level briefings and own executive stakeholder engagement for all Google Cloud Platform (GCP) account projects.
Identify and manage key risks, issues, and actions across the account and regularly track them to meet the expected outcomes and timelines, building mitigation plans as the program evolves.
Engage with stakeholders to support removal of potential blockers and mitigate impacts to program timelines, leveraging technical subject matter experts to support resolution of Google Cloud implementation challenges.
Run an end-of-program review to document successes and improvements for future Google Cloud projects.
