Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it’s modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. Working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to take on big picture challenges.
As someone who knows the workings of the core Finance team inside and out, you’ll lead individual projects to transform planning, tracking and control processes. You’ll provide senior level management with insightful recommendations, planning and reporting support.
In this role, you will work to model business scenarios and track performance metrics that help business leaders make strategic decisions. You will focus on details while finding ways to solve challenges. You will work with business leaders and partners to enable good decision-making by understanding their business, highlighting risks and opportunities via analytics and process guidance (e.g., goal setting, annual planning, etc.).
In this role, you will cover the Retail and Technology industries. You will partner with a staff of directors and other finance teams on product analytics, financial planning, and decision support.

Partner with the sector directors and influence decision-making using analytical insight in decisions around strategic areas.
Build financial and operating plans, identify product/account drivers and opportunities, drive agreements, and optimize resource allocation.
Develop hypotheses and drive analysis/produce insights that result in actions.
Engage with global/regional finance teams to drive scalable tools/analysis and insight throughout the organization.
