Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years relevant work experience in sales, account management, strategy, or business development
3 years of relevant experience in a CTV video, OTT, or other advertising technology
Experience with enterprise sales and managing partner relationships
Preferred qualifications:
MBA degree
Understanding of the video and entertainment industry, key platforms, trends (e.g., CTV/OTT distribution, pay TV unbundling, and rebundling of streaming services), and online advertising ecosystem (e.g., ad serving, ad exchanges, and programmatic advertising)
Ability to analyze complex business opportunities across multiple product areas
Ability to discuss agreements, interpret legal documents, and work with attorneys to complete agreements
Ability to operate in a rapidly changing and undefined space
Passion for the connected living room

The Large Partner Solutions (LPS) team creates relationships with global digital publishers and developers. The team’s mission is to build sustainable media, entertainment, and video distributor partnerships that deliver economic value to partners and Google while protecting our shared ecosystem and Google’s reputation
As Strategic Partner Lead on Telecommunications and Video Distributor Partnerships, you will develop and manage ad infrastructure and programmatic ad inventory partnerships with strategic video partners to foster development of the Connected TV (CTV) ecosystem. You will also discover areas for joint innovation and partnership.
You will set the strategic direction for each account, drive development opportunities, and align internal stakeholders to execute on account priorities. You will build relationships with executives and operational leads at our Multichannel Video Programming Distributors (MVPD) and Virtual Multichannel Video Programming Distributors (vMVPD) partners while staying close to emerging trends in the industry to help shape the strategy of our team. You will renew existing partnerships, pitch and facilitate partnerships, and ensure partner success to drive cross-Google agreements and upscale potential opportunities.

Responsibilities
Develop a deep understanding of partner’s business, priorities, and challenges. Work with Google leaders on video distributor executive engagement strategies to develop deep and trusted relationships.
Develop relationships, build business cases, and close partnerships with leading video distributor partners in the CTV ecosystem.
Collaborate with technical, platform, and business generation specialist teams to manage/develop business, product adoption, and relationships with CTV distributor partners.
Develop renewal and product promotion strategy, discuss term sheets, manage internal approvals processes, and discuss agreements and compliance processes.
Understand the full scope of partner business generation and ad serving, including inventory trends, direct/indirect channel priorities, competitors used, and how ad business generation fits into larger business strategy.
