Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing businesses grow. Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google’s key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.
In this role, you will serve as an ambassador to the advertising industry and manage Google’s relationship with advertising industry trade associations in the United States. You’ll partner with industry association leaders on priority issues to drive outcomes for the company and the industry.
You will match Google’s business and policy priorities to the priorities of the industry, and hone in on areas for strategic partnerships. You’ll work closely with cross-functional internal teams such as Sales, Product, Policy, Marketing, Partnerships, and Communications to drive progress, build consensus, and communicate perspectives to external partners.
You will be a relationship builder, compelling executive communicator, and knowledgeable about ads products and how they fit into the larger advertising ecosystem. You’ll work on topics such as privacy, measurement, responsible media, and social impact.
Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We’re uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google’s broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.
Own and manage relationships with key advertising trade associations in the United States, setting the strategy for how we engage.
Work closely with cross-functional internal teams (e.g., Product, Global Business Operations, Marketing, Public Policy, Communications, Global Product Leads, and Go-to-Market) to stay coordinated on industry issues and highlight relevant opportunities for teams.
Create comprehensive joint partnership plans for each partner to optimize impact of partnerships.
Own cross-team focus area strategy to activate the industry; collaborate with respective team members to deliver on strategy.
Monitor developing industry trends.
