About the job
As a Strategic Partner Manager for our North American (NA) Carriers, you will have the opportunity to own and drive a set of prioritized business development (BD) initiatives to drive our user acquisition and business efforts. You will work with our strategic carrier partners and other third-party ecosystem partners to build upon existing partnership foundations, while seeking out new business opportunities.
In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for projects and partnerships across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Go-To-Market, Finance, and Legal alignment on behalf of the NA Carriers team.
You will work with your counterparts to identify opportunities, work through hurdles to come to mutually beneficial solutions, and manage the overall aspects of the relationship from beginning to end in an effort to build successful, long-term partnerships.
Responsibilities
Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing partners, including establishing and facilitating regular business reviews with our strategic partners, understanding our partners’ roadmap and identifying opportunities for collaboration and synergy, and leading regular touch bases to stay up to date on hardware/software developments.
Collaborate with internal Google cross-functional teams to structure and execute business initiatives, develop work plans, lead analysis, and develop and communicate final recommendations.
Administer the contractual elements of partnerships through term sheets, new agreements, amendments, extensions, renewals, etc., when needed.
Source and develop new opportunities across industries that would benefit from Android, while understanding and solving for all constraints.
Travel around the United States for partnership meetings and key conferences.
