Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
4 years of experience in consulting or other strategy roles
Experience with research and market sizing
Preferred qualifications:
Master’s degree or equivalent practical experience
Experience building and executing projects with low guidance
Experience communicating with partners from junior staff to executive leadership, and ability to translate quantitative results into recommendations
Understanding of consumer electronics market and operational dynamics
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Analytical and problem solving skills to conduct data analysis independently, with solid project management and verbal and written communication skills

The Strategic Planning and Readiness team is part of the Retail Partnerships team for Americas. We provide strategies and actionable insights to empower leadership and Partner Manager decisions in the fast paced and dynamic retail environment. On top our team manages cross-functional projects and programs including Partnerships, Marketing and Go-to-Market.
In this role as a Strategic Planning Manager, your main goal is to shape and optimize the strategic and operational direction of AMER Retail. You will be sought out as a trusted advisor by leaders across the organization, have a direct impact on the business and see how your recommendations will be brought to execution. You will also work closely with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders such as Partnerships, Marketing, Go-to-Market and Product to implement distinctive programs. You will be owner of both, a long-term program vision and roadmap, and the coordination of day-to-day operations to ensure partnerships programs are aligned with future direction and well supported to deliver their impact on partners.
Responsibilities
Work with stakeholders to develop key strategies across retailers and align strategic plans with key teams across Google
Develop and maintain an expert understanding of retail, anticipating actionable trends to enable partnership activities
Conduct quantitative analytics such as market sizing to make business recommendations
Lead preparation of key management communications, and deliver effective presentations of business recommendations and build narratives and communication tailored to different audience levels
Define and lead cross-functional projects to drive operational and strategic initiatives forward
