Understanding of real estate finance, investment, financial analysis, construction, and project timelines.
Ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels with partner and vendor teams.

The Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) team builds environments that keep Googlers feeling inspired and energized. Our Strategic Portfolio Planning team develops global, strategic real estate plans so that the execution team can deliver timely solutions to meet the needs of our growing company. In this role, you will be responsible for developing integrated regional strategies that satisfy complex and expanding business needs of Google. You will develop and present multiple scenarios to REWS stakeholders that optimize our real estate portfolio and meet the needs of our clients.
You will build relationships with cross-functional partners including Transactions Directors, finance, HR, and the client-facing teams to anticipate the quantitative and qualitative drivers coming from client groups, assess the options available from a financial perspective, and drive solutions that take into account priorities and requests. As Google’s businesses continue to grow, you will proactively address our real estate solutions based on the changing requirements of the business and the adaptations in our real estate portfolio.

Additional Information

Responsibilities
Guide the balance of a regional real estate portfolio and proactively drive solutions that balance local and/or product area needs.
Develop and evaluate multiple portfolio scenarios based on a wide set of internal business and/or external variables.
Work with cross-functional collaborators to lead integration of comprehensive site strategies that tie to both Google and individual Product Areas’ objectives.
Build relationships with REWS leadership and cross-functional partners to synthesize viewpoints and influence stakeholders to make optimal real estate portfolio decisions.
Drive strategic recommendations on best paths forward, gain internal alignment, and guide comprehensive strategy proposals through reviews.
