About The Job
As a Strategy and Operations Lead, you will join the Go-To-Market Global Business Strategy and Operations team. In this role, you will help develop the Regulatory Readiness Risk and Compliance program for the Global Business Organization (GBO). You will work closely with the business and other risk and compliance teams across the company to assess and minimize compliance risk across GBO, including legal and central compliance teams.
You will collaborate with different teams across the business, including Sales, Policy, Ads Engineering and support teams, owning executive communications around regulatory initiatives for the business globally. In this role, you will coordinate shaping, managing, and executing a program of work that seeks to minimize regulatory risk, in consultation with executive leaders.
The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google’s complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$207,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Design, influence, and implement the scope and milestones for all regulatory readiness and compliance projects and assist cross-functional process owners/leads to keep projects on track.
- Lead initiatives to identify and define any strategic risks, potential gaps in systematic processes, and deliver steps to remediate and mitigate areas of concern.
- Communicate strategic information to leadership with executive-ready status updates, including presentations and thoughtful facilitation.
- Analyze data and craft executive ready insights by evaluating key business drivers, trends, and operating metrics across Google’s complex ads operations.
- Lead cross-functional planning and operations to support the maturity of a regulatory readiness risk and compliance program.
