Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of work experience as a management consultant, business lead, or product manager.
Experience analyzing quantitative and qualitative information.
Preferred qualifications:
MBA or a graduate degree in Management or Real Estate.
Experience leading and executing complex strategic and operational initiatives for large organizations.
Experience influencing and collaborating with stakeholders in a matrix organization.
Experience in and passion for real estate and/or workplace services.
Effective communicator and comfortable navigating within rapidly changing environments.
Demonstrated strategic thinking and thought leadership when engaging executives.
About the job
As a Strategy Consultant, you will help Development and Security within Real Estate and Workplace Services (DRS) make better decisions by identifying and and solving complex cross-functional challenges. As part of this, you will define critical business challenges, draw insights from analyses, and develop compelling solutions to strategic problems core to our real estate businesses. Our team connects across all of DRS and pulls together the narrative and solution set to enable Google’s extraordinary growth.
You will define our strategy and resource requirements, streamlining real estate transaction agreement approval process, framing Google’s location strategy, and piloting workspace models to optimize for culture change and costs.
You will become a trusted advisor to DRS leadership. Our projects have high visibility and impact Google Leadership and their teams. You will work and partner with and influence cross-functional teams to reach meaningful project results.
The Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) team creates inspiring spaces and innovative services that bring Google’s culture and values to life. We build and maintain all aspects of what keeps our Googley workspaces operating seamlessly across multiple cities and regions globally. We also manage the industry-leading services that help make Google a great place to work – from how we design healthy and collaborative workspaces, create energizing food experiences, provide convenient transportation and fitness options, to delivering inclusive environments where Google and our employees can thrive.
Responsibilities

Build effective relationships across various real estate and workplace teams.
Clearly communicate recommendations across all levels of the organization.
Partner closely with our Consulting Analytics team to support data-based recommendations.
