As a member of the Global Network Solutions team, you are responsible for building the technical infrastructure and connecting computing to customers. We manage challenges in networking, infrastructure, and cloud.
As a System Development Engineer, you will work at the intersection of emerging technology, new business opportunities, and operational needs, supporting the broader Google Cloud Organization, and bridging the gap between networking, servers, and software automation.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000-$158,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services from inception and design, through deployment, operation, and refinement.
Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation, and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity.
Support deployment of new infrastructure (e.g., Network, Servers) under tight time constraints.
Perform complex day-to-day troubleshooting and resolution of Infrastructure issues (e.g., Network, Servers, OS, Applications, etc.)
Design, implementation, and maintenance of automation and configuration management for all levels of networking Infrastructure.
