As a Senior Software Engineer for the ChromeOS Engineering team you will be responsible for the long-term health and stability of all ChromeOS platforms. The team’s mission is to deliver on the promise that customer’s ChromeOS devices will remain stable and secure for as long as they rely on them. You will work at the center of an organization wide initiative, collaborating with multiple teams to deliver new kernels and OS releases across platforms, upstream custom patches and reduce divergence and detect regressions, respond to feedback, debug and fix user-facing crashes and problems with new kernel releases, and even run kernel experiments live in the field.
