Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences, or equivalent practical experience
5 years of experience in change management and program management
5 years of experience in cross-functionally managing and resourcing a multidisciplinary team of engineers and program managers for capital programs
2 years of experience working in product focused companies where Research/Development turns into innovation
Preferred qualifications:
MBA or Master’s degree in engineering or a related technical field
Experience in data driven analytics and key performance indicator management
Experience in very large cross-functional organizations
Expertise in change management

As Change Management Technical Program Manager (TPM), you will be responsible for driving high-visibility change management for large programs, including doing impact assessment, partner engagement and communication. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the organization in Google Data Center (GDC) and Technical Infrastructure (TI) to assess how changes to the scope, schedule and cost can impact the overall program key performance indicators, end customers, and ensure successful implementation. You will be the point of contact and interface to all stakeholders for the product related change management initiatives. You will foster innovation in the data centers that help to keep the world’s internet humming 24/7, delivering results that will have a major impact on the current and future success of Google.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to intake, approve, and prioritize new initiatives, and identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, facilitate conflict resolution and bring visibility across the teams
Interface with upstream and downstream partner teams across TI, specifically with ATI engineers, TPMs, and Global Capacity
Lead and influence others, as part of projects programs, fostering relationships, trust and collaboration
Drive the long-term vision for standardizing processes and tools with an emphasis on achieving consistent functional deliverables, agile product development and overall ease of use and develop best practices, product development processes in a fast-paced environment, and drive impact through deployment of key initiatives benchmarking effectiveness, driving analytics, and quantifying areas of improvements
