Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in security engineering or consulting in vulnerability management, incident management, security assessments.
Experience working with engineering and leadership teams (e.g., Engineering Managers, Product Managers, Security Engineers, Site Reliability Engineers, Software Engineers and Developer Operations).
Preferred qualifications:
2 years of experience in technical program management of security programs.
Experience in open source technologies and/or cloud infrastructure.
Experience with security research, bug bounty programs, and/or vulnerability remediation.
Experience with programming in one or more of the following: Python, SQL, Go, Apps Script, JavaScript, C++.
Experience in vlookups, query, or regex.
Experience with user experience, networking, cryptography, and/or systems architecture.
About the job
As a Technical Program Manager for Devices and Services Security, you will be responsible for driving the security posture and manage the security risk of devices and associated services being built by Google. You will also build and maintain programs that raise the overall security posture of our devices and services. You will work alongside security engineers and various product teams in building security in from the very beginning for the next generation of computing.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying security risks, working with product teams to introduce security from the beginning and communicating security risks and associated project risks to all stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Manage and scale security engineering programs by defining milestones and success criteria, resource allocation, and successful on-time delivery.
Understand the solution and implementation path in order to execute large, complex security programs.
Coordinate between a multitude of cross-functional teams and set clear expectations about responsibilities to internal and external customers.
Exercise design and architecture related knowledge to develop and drive technical security solutions alongside engineering teams.
Focus on driving automation and process improvements.
