10 years of experience as an enterprise architect in either a cloud computing environment or equivalent experience in a customer-facing role.

Experience in communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Preferred qualifications:
5 years of experience working cross-functionally in a highly integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members.
3 years of experience in a sales organization or public procurement organization.
Experience in large scale distributed systems.
Experience in problem solving within fast-paced and constantly changing environments.

As the Technical Program Manager on Google Cloud’s Public Sector Capture Team, you will be responsible for overall technical management of the pursuits for strategic opportunities, including coordinating contract requirements with the relevant technical experts to achieve product delivery to meet solicitation requirements in support of Federal and/or State, Local and Education business. In this role, you will build a trusted advisory relationship with Public Sector Account teams and engage with Architects, Engineering teams, CTO and CIO customer stakeholders and be able to communicate with a variety of business partners.

Responsibilities
Help customers, partners, and Google teams navigate the business processes for delivering Google solutions, map Google offerings to customer requirements, and effectively coordinate with Google Engineering teams to meet government statutory and regulatory requirements.
Draft technical responses to solicitations and/or informational documents such as request for RFP/RFI responses, white papers, and presentations.
Identify contract priorities, technical objections, and design strategies across the entire Google ecosystem that deliver business value and resolve blockers.
Deliver domain expertise on cloud and enterprise technology in conjunction with Partner and Customer Engineering teams.
Engage Google Cloud technical resources to make recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to implement a complete solution, and advise customers on best practices to optimize Google Cloud effectiveness in response to customer requirements.
