Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience in Engineering or Technical Program Management.
Experience in optical system development and metrology, specifically See Through Stack challenges.
Experience in engineering principles of projector technologies (LCoS, uLED), Waveguides, Illumination Sources (LEDs and Lasers), or optomechanical integration.
Preferred qualifications:
Master’s degree, PhD, in Engineering, Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with display system development for Augmented Reality (AR)/Virtual Reality (VR) products.
Experience with integration and root causing of complex opto-mechanical components in high-volume products.
Experience with the full product lifecycle of a consumer electronics product, including product inception, ideation, subsystem definition, design for manufacturing, engineering build management, supplier and vendor management, and MP preparation.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. Responsibilities
Collaborate with display design, metrology, product management, industrial design, user experience, systems engineering, and optical engineering teams to define, prioritize, and communicate the team activities.
Drive HIPAA and privacy requirements that align with overall Rx strategy.
Partner with stakeholders to set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that leads to program success while distilling these KPIs into actionable and measurable metrics for your team.
Manage supplier and vendor interaction for the definition of Statements of Work in order to develop engineering products or capabilities necessary for the program.
Distill high level product requirements into detailed engineering requirements for See Through Stack performance, verify and validate engineering requirements against internal and external user experience needs.
