6 years of experience in client, account, or partner management and/or development.

Understanding of Android ecosystem trends.

About the job
The Android Application Compatibility team works with Device Makers and Application Developers to ensure the integrity of the Android Application Programming Interface (API) as implemented on Android devices. The team partners with internal and external technical teams to push features forward externally, to troubleshoot compatibility issues, and to resolve compliance issues across thousands of device models, applications, and multiple form factors (e.g., phones, tablets, TVs, etc). We help shape and land Android Features on Flagship and on high-volume devices. We ensure that everything works smoothly going forward.
As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will work across a wide variety of technology areas related to Android. You will work with the Android Partner Engineering team which operates in a Software and Device Ecosystem. In this role, you will help bring new Android software features and requirements to device makers with a special emphasis on application compatibility.
Responsibilities
Manage external clients and consult internal teams to translate commercial business models and needs into technical solutions.
Own and manage relationships with technical and non-technical managers, internal and external users, clients, partners, and stakeholders to deliver excellent customer care to achieve project goals.
Act as an industry specialist in your technical domain by leveraging core technical skills and comprehensive knowledge of troubleshooting, systems design, integration, and Google-wide technologies and processes.
Manage a team to create custom solutions, develop repeatable solutions, gather and map customer requirements, and drive solution strategy, scoping, and development.
